What happens after I join the waitlist?
We’ll keep you posted on progress and invite you in as soon as early access is ready. No commitment — just a heads-up when it’s your turn.
Will this affect my credit score?
No. Joining the waitlist doesn’t involve any credit checks. Once we’re live, you’ll be able to check your spending power in the app for free using a soft check — that won’t affect your score either.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard security to keep your information protected, and we’ll only use it to keep you updated about Buttr.

Buttr is for anyone looking to buy their first home and wanting the process to feel clearer and less stressful — especially first-time buyers.
Do I need to be a first-time buyer?
Not at all. While we’re built with first-time buyers in mind, Buttr can support other buyers too. We’ll share more details as we get closer to launch.
Are there any upfront costs or broker fees?
We don’t charge broker fees. There are still the usual costs that come with buying a property (like legal fees), but we’ll always be upfront about them.

Buttr is being built by a team with experience across mortgages, tech, and financial services, focused on making the home-buying journey smoother for customers.
Buttr Financial Services UK Limited is registered in England and Wales (16159632) with registered address at 4th floor, 33 Cannon Street, London, EC4M 5SB. Buttr Financial Services UK Limited has applied for authorisation by the Financial Conduct Authority and is not yet authorised. Regulatory approval is pending, and no regulated activities will be carried out until authorisation has been granted.
